Zipman – Cambrian Alliance

The Cambrian Alliance Group is made up of more than 1,300 independent pharmacy members from across the UK making it one of the country’s largest pharmacy buying groups.


Serving independent pharmacies for more than 15 years, the group includes Cambrian Alliance and Camrx. Cambrian Alliance is the UK’s leading buying group for securing the best prices and growing pharmacies’ profits.

Our Challenge

Superhero Zipman (a character created within the boardroom of Cambrian Alliance) was a campaign idea given to us to show the company sub- brand, Rethinking Pharamacies’ dedication to fighting budget cuts. We were then presented with the challenge of bringing this character to life through the use of comic book imagery that would feature a short story on the main exhibition stand and other stands presenting the character alongside various marketing elements.

It was crucial for the stand to capture the attention of passers by and to really stand out from the other stalls whilst communicating important brand messages.

Our Solution

A vibrant comic book style strip encompassing  the core values and messages of the Cambrian Alliance sub-brand Rethinking Pharmacy. The humorous and eye-catching visuals successfully captured the hearts and attention of the event attendees and the Zipman campaign was a well recognised success.

The interactive stand elements such as cardboard cut out character, skyscraper & taxi made for a truly unique event space.
