Barber Blades are the UK’s leading barber supply store and founders of Europe’s largest barbering exhibition, Barber Connect.
The show is now in its fourth year and will be moving from Newport’s Celtic Manor to the Telford International Centre for 2017, as it expands to cope with demand. Offering opportunities for barbers to share new ideas and showcase their work, the show boasts events such as live competitions and seminars held by leading barbers from around the world.
To reinvigorate Barber Connect with a complete re-brand, with the aim of matching their image to their established status in the barbering world. They wanted branding that appealed to all types of barbers, with a timeless, stylish and professional edge. The same was also required for the other two avenues of the company, the e-commerce store Barber Blades, and the awards ceremony held at the end of the exhibition, Barber Awards.
This fresh new look then needed to be carried through all of their marketing collateral, including a new user-friendly website to promote their exhibition with easy to update news feed and media gallery, as well as full booking functionality
A totally new brand with a slick iconic logo that can be used effortlessly across all of the brand communications. A brand that projects professionalism and cool whilst maintaining its sense of inclusivity.
Alongside the rebrand we worked to design and build a new site that reflected the stylish new Barber Connect brand, making full use of the muted rose gold and petrol blue colour palette. The new look and feel was matched with much improved functionality. One of the main new features being a sophisticated user friendly online booking system for exhibitor’s to book their stands. The home page also features an event countdown and video content bringing it bang up to date.
