You can do a lot in 24 hours in fact you can do loads in 24 hours. Sleep, work, pick up the kids, cook clean, watch your favourite programme have a cheeky few drinks and still fit in a six hour sleep.
You could fly to Australia or drive to Cornwall from Cardiff have a surf and drive back and sleep. The point I’m trying to make is you could do a huge number of things in a single 24 hour slot but I’m sure cycling from London to Paris wasn’t something you’d considered. Enter Kyle.
Kyle is the newest team member here at Creo and since starting he’s made a point of sharing his interest in cycling. However only recently did we discover this passion and his desire to face a challenge head first has lead him to part take in the London to Paris 24 hour ride for Scope.
Kyle along with his brother have signed up to the challenge hoping to ride the full 280 miles of road separating London and the Eiffel Tower within a 24 hour deadline, conveniently arriving in time for tea.
Scope is a fantastic charity which allows those living with a disability to live their lives to the fullest Kyle and Myron both believe the challenge that lay ahead is nothing compared with what those living with disabilities are faced with on a daily basis and although the challenge will mean sleep deprivation tired limbs and a handful of aches and pains both riders are fully committed.
Cycling the distance within the timeframe will require a huge amount of focus and determination and both riders are using the inspirational stories they heard during their visit to Scope to help them get to the finish line.
The guys are both taking part in a number of fundraising activities to help raise money and are hoping to Cycle in Cardiff town centre on rollers to spread the word.
The Creo Office are all behiind the guys both on a bike and in support and wish the pair all the best with the epic journey.
You can follow both via their blog www.cityfix.co.uk and help raise money for the charity at their justgiving page.
